'Mga Kwentong Epik: Ang Alamat ni Maria Makiling' is now streaming on Netflix!

Filipino mythology got another awesome retelling through “Mga Kwentong Epik: Ang Alamat ni Maria Makiling.”

The six-episode series is now streaming on Netflix and currently on the platform’s Trending Now category. Episodes run from just 20 to 25 minutes — perfect for binge-watching!

Created by Epik Studios, the series follows a woman named Ria, who discovers that she is actually the goddess Maria Makiling.

More popular Filipino folkloric characters such as Pedro Penduko and the Nuno also appear.
