Blackpink releases 'Born Pink' album, music video for 'Shut Down'
Blackpink is back in your area!
Two years after releasing their first album "The Album," the girl group dropped the eight-track record "Born Pink," which includes their comeback single "Pink Venom."
Members Jisoo and Rosé are listed among the songwriters for the song "Yeah Yeah Yeah."
The album was released alongside the music video for "Shut Down."
"Shut Down" is written by 24, Danny Chung, TEDDY, and Vince. It samples "La Campanella," the classical violin piece composed by Niccolo Paganini, which is then mixed with hip-hop beats.
Clad in edgy streetwear outfits against black and pink detailed backdrops, Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa sing and tell their haters to stay in their own lane.
The past few weeks have been eventful for Blackpink. They performed at the MTV Video Music Awards—their first performance for a US awards show—where Lisa also won Best K-Pop for her solo album "Lalisa."
