Andi Eigenmann joins her first surfing competition: ‘So happy’

Andi Eigenmann has just joined her first ever surfing competition and she is over the moon about it!

Sharing photos of herself all smiles with a surfboard on her Instagram Stories, Andi thanked her fiancé Philmar Alipayo for his support.

“I joined my first [competition] today, and made it to round 2! So happy! Thanks, mahal,” she wrote, tagging Philmar, who has been giving her surfing lessons.

“Thanks my mahal, for supporting me with my [dreams],” she added in another slide.

Andi joined the 7th Pacifico Local Surfing Competition in Siargao. As seen on their photos, Philmar was present and looking after her all throughout.

Philmar, meanwhile, said he is “so proud of my mahal.” He, a professional surfer, previously said he’ll “give all I can to make her improve.”

According to Andi, she's has been living the surfing dreams of her 11-year-old self all thanks to her husband.

Just this year, the couple opened the Kanaway Surf School and Kanaway Surf Bar.
