'Chainsaw Man' anime series to premiere this October

"Chainsaw Man" just got a release date!

According to a Twitter announcement, the highly anticipated anime will premiere on October 11.

A report on Anime News Network said that the show will be broadcast in Japan channels as well as Amazon Prime Video and Crunchyroll.

Last month, MAPPA released a trailer full of gore and action scenes featuring Denji, Aki, and Power.

Based on the manga series written and illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto, "Chainsaw Man" follows Denji, who has the power to transform parts of his body into chainsaws to fight Devils.

It was first serialized on Weekly Shonen Jump in 2018. —JCB, GMA News
