Justin Bieber takes a break from touring due to health reasons anew
Justin Bieber is taking a break from his Justice World Tour due to health concerns.
This year, the “Peaches” singer was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, which caused him to suffer from partial facial paralysis. Following the diagnosis, he postponed the shows for the tour’s North American leg.
He resumed touring in July with a show in Italy after taking the time to rest and recover.
However, it looks like he will have to take a break yet again.
In a statement on Instagram, Justin said, “After resting and consulting with my doctors, family, and team, I went to Europe in an effort to continue with the tour. I performed six live shows, but it took a real toll on me.”
He said that he “gave everything [he had] to the people” at the Rock in Rio music festival in Brazil, but that the exhaustion "overtook" him.
"I realized that I need to make my health the priority right now," he said. “So I’m going to take a break from touring for the time being. I’m going to be ok, but I need time to rest and get better.”
“I’ve been so proud to bring this show and our message of Justice to the world,” he added.
Manila is one of Justin’s stops on the Justice World Tour, scheduled on October 29 at the CCP Open Grounds.
As of this writing, Ovation Productions is yet to post an announcement regarding the postponement. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA News
