'Ancient Magus' Bride' anime announces second season in 2023

"The Ancient Magus' Bride" is getting a second season!

Twin Engine made the announcement through a YouTube teaser, revealing that it will premiere in April 2023.

According to a report on Anime News Network, the second season will adapt the college arc of the manga, which was released in May 2018.

Based on the manga by Kore Yamazaki, "The Ancient Magus' Bride" follows orphan Chise Hatori who is auctioned off to Elias Ainsworth, a seven-foot-tall humanoid with an animal skull for a head.
