Elton John and Britney Spears’ collaboration ‘Hold Me Closer’ is finally here!

Britney Spears is finally back as a free woman with the help of fellow icon, Elton John.

The duo collaborated on a track titled “Hold Me Closer,” a danceable reimagination of Elton’s classic hit “Tiny Dancer.”

On Twitter, the Pop Princess shared her thoughts on releasing new music after six years.

“It’s pretty damn cool that I’m singing with one of the most classic men of our time … @eltonofficial!!!! I’m kinda overwhelmed… it’s a big deal to me!!! I’m meditating more and learning my space is valuable and precious!!!”

“Hold Me Closer” is Britney’s first release since her 13-year conservatorship was lifted. The conservatorship saw her father Jamie Spears control her career and finances, and started the #FreeBritney movement.
