'Pinocchio' is brought to life in new trailer for Disney remake

Disney has unveiled a magical new trailer for the live-action remake of "Pinocchio."

The two-minute video features the moment the wooden puppet is brought to life, shocking his creator Geppeto (Tom Hanks) when he speaks.

"An almost real boy," Geppeto says.

However, trouble is abound because Pinocchio fails to return home one day.

"Pinocchio," is based on the 1940 animated Disney film of the same name, which adapted the classic children’s novel “The Adventures of Pinocchio" by Carlo Collodi. The story follows a wooden puppet brought to life, who then goes on an adventure to become a real boy.

The remake will premiere on Disney+ on September 8. —JCB, GMA News
