'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' producers eyeing a second season for 2024
"Extraordinary Attorney Woo" is getting a second season!
According to a report on Soompi, ASTORY CEO Lee Sang Baek said, "Thanks to the support of many people, we will produce Season 2 of ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo.’"
He added that they're targeting 2024 for the release, and that a lot of discussions are still set to take place because "it is not easy to coordinate the schedules of the cast and production team."
And rest assured, fans will likely see their favorite characters again. Lee Sang Baek said that there will be no replacement of the cast, director, writer, or production team for the upcoming season.
"As long as there are no unexpected changes, the goal is to maintain more than 90 percent of the same members as now,'' he said. "For this reason, it will take a considerable amount of time to coordinate, but the plan to produce Season 2 has not changed.”
"Extraordinary Attorney Woo" follows Woo Young Woo, a young lawyer with Asperger's syndrome. She boasts a high IQ, an impressive memory and a wonderfully creative thought process, but she struggles with everyday interactions.
The first season is currently streaming on Netflix. —JCB, GMA News
