It's Buwan ng Wika and Fully Booked is putting the spotlight on Filipino books and authors!


August is Buwan ng Wika and Fully Booked is highlighting Filipino books and authors with a month-long event called Filipino Reads Fest.

The month-long celebration will feature virtual talks with Filipino authors Elaine Castillo, Paolo Chikiamco, and Eliza Victoria.

The selection of books under the Read Filipino tab on the bookstore’s website, which range from fiction to children's book to even graphic novels, is discounted at 15% off from August 1 to 12. 

Some of the books include “Patron Saints of Nothing” by Randy Ribay, the “Trese” comic book series by Budjette Tan and Kajo Baldisimo, “When Lola Visits” by Michelle Sterling, “Pan de Sal Saves the Day” by Norma Olizon-Chikiamco, “In the Country” by Mia Alvar, “Arsenic and Adobo: A Tita Rosie's Kitchen Mystery” by Mia P. Manansala, “Alternative Alamat: An Anthology: Myths and Legends from the Philippines” by Paolo Chikiamco, and many more.
