'Stranger Things 5' kicks off writing process
The beginning of the end is here.
After shaking the internet with an explosive fourth season, the writers of "Stranger Things" have now begun writing the fifth and final season of the hit sci-fi series.
Posting a photo of a whiteboard that only says "Stranger Things 5," they tweeted, "Day 1."

Fans were completely hyped and left their Season 5 wish lists on the replies.
There's not much to know about the fifth season yet, but actor Joe Keery earlier said it will be "pure chaos."
And based on how Season 4 ended, we could only expect so!
"Stranger Things" premiered on Netflix in 2016 and released the two parts of Season 4 in May and July of this year. The series is set to conclude with the fifth season.
In an earlier interview, actor David Harbour said they want to finish writing the script of Season 5 this year and begin filming in 2023. —JCB, GMA News
