Staycation with your fur babies? It's possible in this hotel in Alabang

It's about time hotels let pets have their staycation, too!

Oftentimes, planning a staycation is hard for fur parents who want to bring their pets with them on vacation.

Sure, many properties in Metro Manila dedicate a portion of pet-friendly areas within their vicinities, but not inside hotel rooms, or if ever you really wish to, you have to pay an additional amount on top of your booking fee.

But what if I tell you that there is a hotel in Alabang that lets you tag along your fur babies into your staycation fuss-free and without any additional cost?

As a pet owner (a cat mom, to be specific), I'm always on the hunt for pet-friendly places where I can bring my fur baby.

Earlier this month, I felt relieved to discover that Somerset Alabang not only allows pets in its common areas but also in the rooms, too, without any additional costs.

It's always a struggle for me to leave Pesto alone at home every time we go on family staycations around Metro Manila, so to say that I was glad to bring her along with our recent city vacation was an understatement.

As of writing, the four-star hotel is one of the few properties, if not the first one, to fully allow pets in all areas within its vicinities.

The room we got during our stay was a one-bedroom deluxe (P5,300-P5,500). It had a balcony with a city view of Alabang, but for the safety of the hotel guests and its pets, you have to sign a waiver should you want to open the sliding door which leads to the balcony.

For a "pawsome" welcome, when you inform the property that you are bringing your fur babies, they would even lend you some toys that your pets can play with during your stay.

So, the next time you plan a staycation and want to bring your fur babies with you, you may now do so at Somerset Alabang!
