Things get disturbing in new 'Don't Worry Darling' trailer

Things get quite dark in the new trailer of "Don't Worry Darling."

Although lead stars Harry Styles and Florence Pugh might look like they're playing the perfect couple at first, it becomes clear that there is something terribly off in their supposedly idyllic life.

Set in the 1950s, "Don't Worry Darling" revolves around the idealized community of Victory, the experimental company town housing the men who work for the top-secret Victory Project and their families.

In the new trailer, Alice (Pugh) is shown being plagued with disturbing visions and dreams, and as she becomes increasingly paranoid and stressed, her marriage with Jack (Styles) becomes strained.

"They're lying about everything," she says.

The new trailer also shows more of Chris Pine, who plays Frank, the CEO who has his hooks in every aspect of daily life in the tight-knit desert utopia.

Directed by Olivia Wilde, who also stars in the film, "Don't Worry Darling" is set to hit Philippine cinemas on September 28. —JCB, GMA News
