"We extend our sincerest apologies to our fans and to those who have shown love and support to the group for causing you concern over the controversy involving the member," they said.
They added that LE SSERAFIM will continue as a five-member group.
"We will spare no effort to support the group to grow further as artists through their music and performance," they said.
LE SSERAFIM is HYBE's new girl group, which debuted on May 2 under Source Music.
The remaining members are Sakura, Kim Chaewon, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae.
Following the bullying controversy that supposedly stemmed from Garam's school days, the singer went on hiatus.
The group has been conducting activities as five with their debut single "Fearless" and EP with the same name. —JCB, GMA News
