Turn into a crocodile through the 'Lolong' filter!
Bring your "Lolong" hype online by becoming a crocodile through this filter!
As seen on Lhar Santiago's "24 Oras" report, Monday, the Instagram and Facebook filter lets a person turn into a crocodile like Dakila by facing the screen.
Ruru Madrid, who plays the lead character in the show, already tried the filter and was very much amazed by it.
"Sobrang nakakagulat. Parang nagta-transform sila maging si Dakila or maging crocodile sila so ang galing na may gano’n na tayong klaseng technology," he said.
("It's very surprising. They can transform to be like Dakila or like a crocodile so it's so amazing that we have technology like that.")
Among those who also gave the filter a try were his co-stars Paul Salas, Shaira Diaz, Arra San Agustin, and Marco Alcaraz, who plays the newest addition to the cast.
Ruru is currently in South Korea to shoot for "Running Man Philippines." Though he's away, he's still very much updated by the success that "Lolong" is achieving back home.
The Kapuso actor said his character, Lolong, will continue to evolve into a braver person in the coming days. He also said more is about to come, so fans should stay tuned.
"Ito na po 'yung totoong laban. Dito po magsisimula 'yon sa linggo po na ito," he said.
("This is the real fight. This is where it will start, this coming week.")
Since airing earlier this month, "Lolong" has continuously been making waves among Kapuso viewers. It topped the list of trends on Philippine Twitter during its premiere.
"Lolong" airs on GMA-7 on week nights after "24 Oras."
