Paolo Sandejas gives thanks to BTS' V with cover of 'Christmas Tree'

When his song “Sorry” was revealed as part of BTS member V’s playlist, Paolo Sandejas was not able to hide his happiness.

As a way to give thanks to V as well as to the BTS Army, Paolo released a cover of the South Korean superstar's solo song "Christmas Tree."

"Christmas Tree" is part of the official soundtrack of the K-drama "Our Beloved Summer."

“While V's version will forever be elite, I hope you guys enjoy this short cover,” Paolo said in a tweet.

“Thank you V for sharing my music with the world, and thank you ARMY for the love and support you guys shared with me. This one's for you guys. I'll forever be honored and grateful for everything you guys have done for me,” he added.

“Sorry” is part of Paolo’s 2020 EP “Purple Afternoon.” The song was played during V’s “Drive Vlog,” and is now climbing the charts on the Spotify PH Viral Songs playlist. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA News
