‘Orphan: First Kill’ is coming to Philippine cinemas this July

“Orphan: First Kill” will come to Philippine theaters on July 27, according to SM Cinema on Thursday.

“After 13 long years, Isabelle Fuhrman returns to the ‘Orphan’ as Esther for her first kill. Now it’s waiting for her deadly actions,” said its Facebook caption.

The film is a prequel to the 2009 movie “Orphan.” Esther, now in America, impersonates the missing daughter of a wealthy family after escaping from an Estonian psychiatric facility.

In the country, she meets a mother “who will protect her family from the murderous ‘child’ at any cost.”

For the meantime, those who are waiting for the premiere later this month may watch the 2009 film “Orphan” on Netflix.
