Avril Lavigne recreates her debut album cover 20 years later
Avril Lavigne just took us back to 2002, when “Complicated,” “Sk8er Boi,” and “I’m With You” were all we were singing.
The pop-punk princess posted the ultimate throwback on her TikTok account, recreating the cover photo of her debut album "Let Go."
Avril went to the location where she shot the original cover in Canal Street in New York, wearing a similar outfit and posed exactly as she did when she was 18-year-old.

The video was set to Simple Plan’s “I’m Just a Kid,” which TikTok users use to recreate old photos.
Simple Plan commented, "This is amazing! Happy 20th anniversary!"
Early this month, Avril released the 20th anniversary edition of “Let Go,” which features six B-side tracks including her recording of “Breakaway,” which the singer co-wrote before it was passed to Kelly Clarkson.
Avril recently released her seventh album “Love Sux” in February, in which she went back to her pop-punk roots. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA News
