Alanis Morissette’s Philippine concerts are cancelled
Alanis Morissette's Manila shows in November have been cancelled.
On social media, Ovation Productions announced the shows, slated for November 18 and 19 at the Mall of Asia Arena, will no longer push through “due to scheduling issues and to the unprecedented logistical challenges of global touring in 2022.”
In their post, the concert organizers said that ticket holders will receive full refunds.
Alanis also expressed in the statement, “My friends in Philippines, I am crestfallen to announce that the upcoming Jagged Little Pill Anniversary tour dates have been cancelled. I love you all and will be back as soon as we can. Until then, big hug.”
The sold-out shows were supposed to be a part of the Jagged Little Anniversary tour, which celebrates the 25th year of Alanis’ iconic album with hits including “Ironic” and “You Oughta Know.”
Alanis’ Manila concerts were originally scheduled for April 2020, was moved to December 2021, and then again to November 2022. Alas, it wasn't meant to be. — LA, GMA News
