BTS debuts jaw-dropping live performance of their new songs 'Yet To Come' and 'For Youth'

If you think the songs from BTS's latest album "Proof" are good, wait until you hear them sung live.

The South Korean supergroup celebrated their ninth anniversary on Wednesday by debuting the first live performance of their new songs "Yet To Come" and "For Youth."

They also performed "Born Singer," which they first released unofficially in 2013, and only included in a studio album now.

Silk Sonic's Anderson Paak also joined them for the performance, surprising fans by showing up and playing the drums.

The "Leave The Door Open" singer has been an outspoken fan of BTS, and the two parties have attended each other's concerts.

Mid-video, the members of BTS also talked about why they released an anthology album, and reminisced on not just their past together, but the last two years of pandemic which changed the course of their career.

"Most of the things we've done since 2020 were not planned in advance," RM said. "We've done most things spontaneously based on the best decision we could make each time."

In 2020, BTS released their seventh anniversary album "Map of the Soul 7." They were supposed to go on a massive world tour, but all plans went down the drain because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

A few months later, they released "Dynamite," which in their words, "literally blew up." The all-English song earned them their first debut on the top spot of the Billboard Hot 100 chart and their first Grammy nomination.

However, J-Hope said that while "Dynamite" succeeded beyond their expectations, they didn't want to be artists "who would get stuck in one place and do the same thing over and over again."

The seven members also looked back on their best moments together, from their debut in 2013, to their precious memories together like attending each other's graduation and packing lunches for each other ahead of college exams.

"I think we deserve to be proud of ourselves for who we've become today," Jungkook said.

J-Hope agreed and added, "We still have a long journey ahead of us. Let's stick together and keep up the hard work."
