BTS's Jungkook drops song for ARMY, 'My You'
BTS member Jungkook just dropped a surprise song dedicated to ARMY!
Titled "My You," the song was released on midnight of June 13 (Korean time), ushering in the day of BTS' ninth anniversary.
According to a report on Soompi, Jungkook personally produced the track along with Hiss Noise. It was released as part of the 2022 BTS Festa.
"When I think of all of you, these feelings that stir inside me are so overwhelming that I have occasionally thought, 'What if all of this disappears? Or what if this is all a dream?'" Jungkook was quoted as saying.
"So I wrote this song based on those thoughts, and because I worried that the song's vibe might become too depressing, I tried to fill the lyrics with pretty words," he added.
Jungkook also thanked ARMY for their support and told them "I love you."
"This song is solely for you, and I hope that it becomes a song that can give hope, light, and strength to both me, who wrote the song, and you, who listen to it."
BTS recently released their comeback album "Proof." The anthology has since taken the internet by storm, with lead track "Yet To Come" topping charts and trending on Twitter.
