BTS comeback 'Proof' takes the internet by storm
BTS is taking the internet by storm yet again after the release of their comeback album "Proof."
The Grammy-nominated global superstars are currently dominating Philippine Twitter with #YetToCome, #BTS_Proof, #TheMostBeautifulMoment, and other keywords.
Lead single "Yet To Come" debuted at no. 1 in Melon, the most popular music streaming service in South Korea.
The music video for the song also fetched over 15 million views on YouTube within three hours after its release.
BTS members spoke about the album ahead of its release, sharing their thoughts about the anthology marking the ninth year since their debut.
"Because 'Proof' is an album that encapsulates BTS’s history, it keeps bringing to mind different memories from the past nine years. I myself will be listening to it often," Jin said in a Soompi report.
"It's an honor to be able to capture our journey of the past nine years in this new album ‘Proof.’ I hope that those listening to the album will follow and walk along with our footprints one more time," Suga added.
Prior to "Proof," BTS released singles "Permission to Dance" and "Butter" last year.
