Girls’ Generation to return as a full group after 5 years on 15th anniversary in August
Bring the SONEs out ’cause Girls’ Generation is officially coming back as a full group in August!
The K-pop girl group also known as SNSD made the announcement on Tuesday, saying all eight members would be taking part in their return.
“The legends are back! Girls’ Generation will release an album as eight members to celebrate their 15th anniversary this August,” said their announcement.
Apart from a new album, the group would also be appearing in various TV shows and reality programs.
The new album comes five years after their sixth one, “Holiday Night,” which dropped in 2017.
Composed of Yoona, Taeyeon, Seohyun, Sooyoung, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, and Sunny, Girls’ Generation made their debut in August 2007 with “Into The New World.”
They are popular for hits including “Gee,” “The Boys,” “Lion Heart,” “I Got A Boy,” “Genie,” and “Oh!” – RC, GMA News
