Bong Joon Ho’s ‘Parasite’ to start streaming on Netflix this May

The award-winning Korean film “Parasite” is finally coming to Netflix on May 13!

Directed by Bong Joon Ho, the movie circles on a destitute family who will insinuate themselves into the household of a wealthy couple living in oblivious privilege.

Since its premiere in 2019, it has garnered numerous recognitions, including four Academy awards: Best Picture, Best Director, Best International Feature, and Best Original Screenplay.

It was the first non-English-language film to win Hollywood’s biggest prize.

“Parasite” stars Song Kang Ho, Lee Sun Kyun, Cho Yeo Jeong, Choi Woo Shik, Park So Dam, Lee Jung Eun, Chang Hyae Jin, Park Myung Hoon, Jung Ziso, and Jung Hyeon Jun.

The film is set to be remade as a television series, which Joon Ho hopes will be “something of great genius.” — LA, GMA News
