'My Hero Academia' to release a 2-episode anime special ahead of Season 6


We don't have to wait too long for new "My Hero Academia" content.

According to a report on Anime News Network, Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump has announced that the series will be getting a two-episode special this June.

One of the episodes will feature an original story about pro heroes competing against each other in baseball, the report added.

Gang Orca and Shishido will be leading their teams — which includes UA students — to get to the top.

The special will be released ahead of the anime series' upcoming sixth season.

 

 

 

Based on the manga by Kohei Horikoshi, "My Hero Academia" follows Midoriya Izuku, previously Quirkless, as he works to be a hero in a superpowered world.

Season 5 of the anime premiered in March 2021. —JCB, GMA News
