'Percy Jackson and the Olympians' completes casting of main trio

Disney's "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" has found its lead trio!

After casting Walker Scobell for Percy Jackson, the show unveiled the actors for Annabeth and Grover Underwood.

Leah Sava Jeffries will play Annabeth Chase, the demigod daughter of Athena, while Aryan Simhadri will play Grover, everyone's favorite satyr.

"Welcome home demigods. Meet Annabeth, Percy, and Grover," the show's official Twitter account said. "Get ready for #PercyJackson and The Olympians coming to @DisneyPlus."

The three characters headlined the original "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" book series written by Rick Riordan.

Riordan announced that a live-action series adaptation of his story was in the works for Disney as early as May 2020.

"Percy Jackson & the Olympians" is a series of books that brings to life Greek mythology as it tells the story of Percy, a once normal boy who discovers he is the son of Poseidon when he comes of age. —JCB, GMA News
