Herlene Budol takes a crack at practice Q&A

Herlene Budol showed off the results of her pageant training during a sample Q&A in a recent vlog.

In a video posted on the YouTube channel FAMNGARAP, Herlene answered questions from her friends Apple and Aian.

"Teka lang ha... don't expect too much muna ha, kasi I'm starting palang eh," she said.

However, the Kapuso comedienne did manage to answer without fail.

One of the questions she was asked was: "Kung ikaw ay magkakaroon ng karelasyon na tomboy o trans man at kayo ay mag-aanak, ano ang mas preferred mo, IVF o adoption?"

To which Herlene responded that she would prefer to adopt, because in vitro fertilization IVF are for people who could afford it.

"Kasi, kagaya ko, halimbawa, wala akong budget, bakit ko pa ipu-push ang magkaroon ng ganoon kung kaya ko naman mag-adopt? Tapos makatulong pa ako sa mga kabataan na kulang sa pagmamahal ng magulang, financial, na hindi kayang suportahan ang paglaki nila," she said.

"So, ako itong magiging hero nila, magiging magulang nila, na hindi ko man sila isinilang, pero kaya ko silang maging tunay na anak sa puso’t isipan ko. Pagtulong ko na rin sa kapwa Pilipino," she added.

Herlene also took the chance to give a message to her fans. She said that the number of her supporters only increased since she joined Binibining Pilipinas.

"Sobrang saya ko, kasi mas napalapit ako sa LGBTQIA. Love ko sila kasi may mga tropa ako sa LGBTQIA, ngayon mas na-appreciate ko sila. Salamat po sa pagsuporta, ana po hanggang huli nandiyan kayo kasi love na love ko kayo," she said.

Herlene is among the Top 40 candidates of this year's Binibining Pilipinas.

Popularly known as "Hipon Girl," she has been showing a new side of herself to fans as she kicks off her pageant journey. —JCB, GMA News
