'Shaman King' anime announces sequel


The "Shaman King" reboot is getting a sequel!

A teaser was released after the season concluded on Tuesday.

Based on the 30-second video, the sequel will revolve around Hana, the son of Yoh and Anna.

"Shaman King" adapted the the manga by Hiroyuki Takei, which was serialized in Japan's Weekly Shonen Jump starting 1998 until it was cancelled in 2004.

It follows the story of Yoh Asakura as he competes in a semi-millennial tournament to become the Shaman King.

The story was first adapted into an anime in 2001. A reboot was launched last August. —JCB, GMA News
