'Stranger Things 4' drops first trailer, sets up a big war

Trouble has come back for Hawkins, and this time it's bigger than ever.

Netflix has finally unveiled the first trailer of "Stranger Things 4" and it set up an incoming war.

"A war is coming," Dr. Sam Owens tells Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), who had moved far away from town. "I'm afraid your friends in Hawkins are very much in the eye of the storm."

It is then that Eleven reveals: "I don't have my powers."

In Hawkins, the gang is shown to attempt to live a normal high school life, but according to Max (Sadie Sink), life has become a disaster.

Meanwhile, Hopper (David Harbour) is being held at a Russian cell, saying he's convinced he was put there "for some other reason."

And lastly, the trailer unveils the big boss: one of Dungeons and Dragons' most powerful villains, Vecna.

"You've broken everything," a creepy voice over says. "Your suffering is almost at an end."

"Stranger Things 4" will be split into two volumes. Volume 1 will premiere on May 27, while Volume 2 will premiere on July 1.

The hit sci-fi series, which first premiered in 2016, is set to end with Season 5. —JCB, GMA News
