'Itaewon Class' is getting a Japanese remake

"Itaewon Class" is getting adapted into a Japanese series!

According to Korean media outlets, JTBC Studio has confirmed the deal with Kakao Entertainment.

Based on a webtoon of the same name, "Itaewon Class" follows an ex-con and his friends who attempt to launch a street bar — and their quest for revenge. It stars Park Seo Joon and Kim Da Mi.

Philippine audiences were able to enjoy it when it was released early 2020 on Netflix, where it was consistently in the Top 10 titles. —JCB, GMA News
