Kate Valdez receives copy of 'Dream Walker,' the comic book whose heroine she inspired
Kate Valdez showed off her copy of "Dream Walker," the comic book that features a heroine designed after her looks.
In an Instagram post, Kate posed with the comic book, praising the art by Noel Layon Flores, and thanking writer Mikey Sutton "for making this happen."
"Me in a comic book??" she wrote in her post. "Even though I’m holding my copy of DREAM WALKER, It still feels so surreal."
"Looking forward to more volumes!" she added.
"Dream Walker" follows a blogger named Kat, who enters a person’s dream, retrieves objects from it, and uses them to fight monsters.
Kate's morena beauty inspired Kat's looks.
In an earlier Instagram post, Kate said that she's "filled with gratitude that they chose to incorporate my likeness into their masterpiece."
"They told me that I was their muse in inspiring this brilliant piece of work, but their work also inspires me," she added.
According to a report on GMA Network, the comic book was an instant hit in KRS Comics in California, reaching the top 8 spot in the weekly charts. —JCB, GMA News
