Lindsay Lohan signs two-movie deal with Netflix
We'll be seeing more of Lindsay Lohan on our screens as the actress has signed a two-movie deal with Netflix.
This comes at the heels of Lohan's participation in "Falling for Christmas," a holiday rom-com set to premiere on Netflix later this year.
"We’re so happy with our collaboration with Lindsay to date, and we’re thrilled to continue our partnership with her," Netflix's Director of Independent Film, Christina Rogers, said in a statement to Deadline. "We look forward to bringing more of her films to our members around the world."
On Instagram, Lindsay also shared the news, saying, "Exciting things to come!"
Lindsay was catapulted into fame at a young age with leading roles in films such as "The Parent Trap" and Disney's "Freaky Friday." She is especially iconic for her role as Cady in "Mean Girls."
However, she suffered from drug and alcohol addictions and made headlines for landing in prison and rehab.
In November, she announced that she was happily engaged to her boyfriend Bader Shammas.
And now she has multiple films slated to debut on Netflix! In "Falling for Christmas," she will play a hotel heiress that suffers from amnesia after a skiing accident, getting cared for by a lodge owner and his daughter.
The films has no release date yet. —JCB, GMA News
