K-pop group NU'EST to disband this March
K-pop group NU'EST is disbanding after almost 10 years together.
In a statement, PLEDIS Entertainment on Monday announced that their contracts with the band will expire on March 14.
Members Baekho and Minhyun will be the only ones to renew their contracts. JR, Aron, and Ren will be leaving the company.
According to the statement, NU'EST will "cap off" their official group activities with an album set to be released this month.
"PLEDIS Entertainment wishes the best for the members’ new leap forward and growth and will continue to cheer for their bright future ahead of them," it said.
NU'EST is a five-member K-pop boy band which debuted in March 2012 with the single "Face." —JCB, GMA News
