Star City reopens doors to public with 25 rides after fire in 2019
Star City officially reopened its doors to the public after nearly three years!
According to Chino Gaston’s “24 Oras” report on Thursday, the theme park located in Pasay City has 25 rides open to visitors. These include the Star Frisbee, Seahorse Viking, and the Jungle Splash.
While the amusement park was still on soft opening, the Star City management said more exciting rides would be available in the coming months.
It also assured that health protocols against COVID-19 were being strictly followed.
This is the theme park’s first reopening since a fire broke out in October 2019. Star City was renovated for reopening, but lockdowns due to the COVID-19 pandemic followed in 2020.
“We were supposed to open last Jan. 14 but due to the spike ng cases ng Omicron, we had to hold back our soft launching,” said group sales supervisor Graziell Magbitang.
