'Despicable Me 4' announced for 2024

Universal Pictures has confirmed that "Despicable Me 4" is in production for 2024.

According to Comicbook, original cast members Steve Carell, Kristen Wiig, Miranda Cosgrove, Steve Coogan, and Pierre Coffin will all be back for the sequel.

The "Despicable Me" franchise started in 2010 with a film of the same name, followed by the sequels "Despicable Me 2" in 2013, and "Despicable Me 3" in 2017.

The films follow supervillain-turned-dad Guru who adopts three girls, Margo, Edith, and Agnes. —JCB, GMA News
