'Stranger Things' to end with Season 5
We're nearing the end of our adventure with the Upside Down.
According to Deadline, "Stranger Things 5" will be the last season of the hit sci-fi series.
Netflix renewed the show for a fifth season prior to the release of the fourth.
However, co-creators Matt and Ross Duffer hinted at potential spin-offs.
"There are still many more exciting stories to tell within the world of Stranger Things: new mysteries, new adventures, new unexpected heroes," they said. "But first we hope you stay with us as we finish this tale."
The upcoming fourth season, meanwhile, will be split into two volumes.
Volume 1 will premiere on May 27, while Volume 2 will premiere on July 1.
"Stranger Things" follows a gang of misfits who try to fend off monsters from the alternate dimension called the Upside Down.
Season 3 was released in July 2019. —JCB, GMA News
