Mikael Daez to have wife Megan Young as co-host on the pilot episode of his new infotainment show 'The Best Ka!'

Mikael Daez will be having his wife Megan Young as his first co-host in the pilot episode of his upcoming infotainment show "The Best Ka!"

In his upcoming show which will premiere on February 20, he will be featuring Guinness World Records from all over the world.

"It’s not your usual, ‘eto kakaiba parang kahit yung konsepto pato mga features na ilalabas namin magugulat ‘yung mga Kapusong manunuod," Mikael said in an interview with the press on Tuesday.

Mikael said they will be featuring "out of this world" world records.

According to Mikael, they had a very beautiful location for their first episode.

"Oh my god what a place, what a beautiful place to shoot in so mapapansin niyo for sure ang location pero for the succeeding episodes let’s see, I have expressed my willingness to travel, to go out of the box," Mikael said.

"Siyempre alam natin may mga external factors na hindi natin hawak so I guess medyo go with the flow tayo for now," he added.

On hosting with his wife on TV for the first time

While the two of them already had event hosting gigs together including their own wedding, this is the first time Mikael and Megan will be hosting together on television.

"I’m super duper excited. I guess it made sense also kasi nung first taping namin magkasama na kami sa bahay health and safety protocols was a lot easier dahil one household lang kami," Mikael said.

"At the same time in terms of the show, sobrang enjoy and ‘yun ‘yung mararamdaman ng mga Kapuso natin na manunuod ng first episode," he added.

"Sobrang enjoy namin because we haven’t done this in a really long time," he said. "So lahat ng energy namin naipon over the past one and a half to two years dito namin nailabas."

"This is the definitely the first one seeing the both of us hosting together," he added. "Ibang Bonez and Fofo ang makikita ng mga Kapuso natin."
