Marvel Studios drops official trailer of 'Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness'

Marvel Studios officially dropped the trailer of "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness."

The trailer shows how the Marvel Cinematic Universe unlocked the multiverse pushing its boundaries further than before with new secrets unveiled.

One to catch from this trailer is a brief audio cameo from what sounded like Patrick Stewart as Professor X from the "X-Men" series who also encountered Doctor Strange.

"We should tell him the truth," the voice told Doctor Strange.

Doctor Strange was also seen seeking help from none other than Wanda, the Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen).

At the latter part of the trailer, Doctor Strange also comes across an alternate version of himself, who said, "Things just got out of hand."

"Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" is the highly anticipated sequel to Marvel's 2016 blockbuster "Doctor Strange."

“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” which is set to be released in theaters on May 6, stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, with Michael Stühlbarg, and Rachel McAdams.

The film is directed by Sam Raimi, and Kevin Feige is the producer. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Eric Hauserman Carroll and Jamie Christopher serve as executive producers. The screenplay was written by Michael Waldron. —JAB, GMA News.
