Before the TvN drama arrives on Netflix this weekend, the Korean actor expressed hope that the story would not only bring back cherished memories, but provide the audience with warmth amidst this "very cold winter," as well
"So like this very cold winter, I hope that we can provide you with warmth through this show, and now spring will come," the actor said in a press conference on Wednesday.
"I hope that 'Twenty Five Twenty One' brings back the memories of spring, so you can enjoy spring with our drama," he added.
Meanwhile, director Jung Jee-hyun likened the drama to a talk with friends that would "bring back the memories of your past and appreciate your present."
“Looking at how these young people go about their lives in 1998 gives some themes that might resonate with today’s audience,” Jung said.
