'Attack on Titan' wins Anime of the Year, 'Horimiya' best romance in Crunchyroll awards

"Attack on Titan" Final Season Part 1 was hailed as the Anime of the Year in Crunchyroll's Anime Awards 2022!

The series bested five other titles for the top honor: "86," "Jujutsu Kaisen" Cour 2, "Ranking of Kings," "Oddtaxi," and "Sonny Boy."

"Jujutsu Kaisen" won the Anime of the Year award in 2021.

Meanwhile, "Demon Slayer: Mugen Train Arc" bagged Best Animation and the movie version was named the Best Film.

Other major winners include "Horimiya" (Best Romance), "That Time I Got Incarnated As a Slime" Season 2 (Best Fantasy), "Komi Can't Communicate" (Best Comedy), "To Your Eternity" (Best Drama), and "Jujutsu Kaisen" Cour 2 (Best Action).
