'Scream' to premiere in Philippine cinemas without cuts; sneak previews to be held in February
The rated R-16 film "Scream" is set to hit Philippine theaters this February without cuts.
Paramount Pictures in a press statement said fans are guaranteed to see "Scream" in "its integral, original version, complete with all the strong language, gore, and graphic depiction of murders."
They also announced that the no. 1 box-office hit film will also hold special sneak previews in selected cinemas nationwide on Tuesday, February 1st.
Fans can check with their favorite theaters for the screening hours and ticket prices.
The film is set to premiere nationwide in Philippine cinemas on February 2.
"Scream," directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett, follows the story of a new killer who has donned the Ghostface mask and begins targeting a group of teenagers to resurrect secrets from the town’s deadly past. The film is set twenty-five years after a streak of brutal murders shocked the quiet town of Woodsboro.
Among the actors who will be in the film include Neve Campbell (“Sidney Prescott”), Courteney Cox (“Gale Weathers”) and David Arquette (“Dewey Riley”) return to their iconic roles in “Scream” alongside Melissa Barrera, Kyle Gallner, Mason Gooding, Mikey Madison, Dylan Minnette, Jenna Ortega, Jack Quaid, Marley Shelton, Jasmin Savoy Brown, and Sonia Ammar. —Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/JCB, GMA News
