Charlie Puth returns with new single 'Light Switch'

Charlie Puth is back with a new single titled "Light Switch."

The singer finally released the song after documenting the creation process on his TikTok account for months.

"On the songwriting level, it was really cool to share this song with the fans while I made it," Puth said in a statement to Rolling Stone. "So they felt like they were involved at the very beginning of the song, like they almost wrote it with me."

In a tweet, he thanked his fans for being patient with him for the last five months.

"[Light Switch] needed to sound perfect," he said. "You're the best fans I could ever ask for!"

"Light Switch" is the first single off of Puth's upcoming album "Charlie."

He released his last album "Voicenotes" in 2018. It contained hit songs such as "Attention," "How Long," and "The Way I Am." —JCB, GMA News
