Ruru Madrid teases new vlog series with Kylie Padilla, Hidilyn Diaz as first guests
Ruru Madrid is welcoming the new year stronger than ever!
In a media interview on Thursday, the "Lolong" actor revealed that he was launching a new vlog series titled "What #RU made of?"
"I just wanted to show the world kung sino talaga ako, totoo na ako. 'Yun 'yung goal nitong YouTube (channel),” he said.
"Nakikipag-collab ako with other artists, with other influencers, mga kasama ko sa trabaho na makakapagbigay ng inspiration."
[I just wanted to show the world who I really am, the real me. That's the goal of my YouTube channel. I am collaborating with other artists, other influencers, people I work with who can give inspiration to others.]
Ruru revealed that his very first guest was Kylie Padilla.
The actor said he and Kylie had worked many times on several projects but this was the first time they would be talking about their struggles in life.
"Kahit umabot sa punto na nagkakaroon ng challenges, hindi niya hinahayaan sarili niya na ma-stuck doon," he said, adding she would be the "perfect guest" for his pilot episode.
[Even when there are challenges, she doesn't let herself get stuck.]
Ruru said his other guest was none other than Hidilyn Diaz, the first Filipino to bring home an Olympic gold medal.
The actor also said that the series would show not only interviews.
"Sa'min ni Kylie, magmu-mukbang kami. Sa'min ni Hidilyn, magwo-work out kami habang nagtatanong ako sa kanya ano struggles nila," Ruru said.
[With Kylie, we'll do a mukbang challenge. With Hidilyn, we'll work out together while I ask her about their struggles.]
In the future, the "Lolong" actor said he hoped to collaborate with Mimiyuuuh and Alex Gonzaga. – RC, GMA News
