Avril Lavigne to release new album 'Love Sux' this February
Avril Lavigne is blessing us with new music this year!
The iconic Punk Rock Queen just announced that she’s releasing a new album titled “Love Sux” this February 25.
Avril already released a new song off the album titled “Love it When You Hate Me (ft. Blackbear)" on Thursday.
In an earlier interview, Avril said that her new album was a “loveletter to women.”
“This album, I'm writing about love and reflecting on the last couple of years and what I've been through and my ups and downs. I wanted to keep it light and playful, which is more of a reflection of where I am today,” the singer-songwriter told Entertainment Weekly.
“I am comfortable and happy with who I am today, but I still go through the same struggles and I want people to feel empowered… I wanted to make sure I wrote music that people could relate to. It's about valuing yourself and knowing you're enough. It's really a love letter to women,” she added.
Last November, Avril made a comeback with her single "Bite Me." —JCB, GMA News
