Nam Joo Hyuk falls in love all over again in new Netflix drama 'Twenty Five Twenty One'
After stealing our hearts in “Start-Up” and “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo,” Nam Joo Hyuk will be back with another heart-fluttering K-drama this February.
Netflix just dropped the trailer for “Twenty Five Twenty One,” which tells the story of a teen fencer who pursues big ambitions and meets a hardworking young man who seeks to rebuild his life.
According to Netflix, Nam Joo Hyuk will be playing 22-year-old Back Yi Jin, who meets 18-year-old Na Hee Do, played by Kim Tae Ri, amidst the turbulence of the East Asian Financial Crisis in 1998.
It also tells the story of five young people from 1998 to 2001, “who thought they would be together forever.”
“Twenty Five Twenty One,” directed by Jung Jeehyun, will premiere on February 12, 2022 on Netflix.
It stars Nam Joo Hyuk, Kim Tae-ri, Kim Ji Yeon, Choi Hyun Wook and Lee Ju Myoung. —Margaret Claire Layug/JCB, GMA News
