What does ‘First Lady’ star Sanya Lopez want to invest in this year?

After her spectacular performance as Yaya Melody in GMA's hit rom-com "First Yaya," Sanya Lopez feels blessed to have a lot of projects lined up this 2022.

Despite her successful 2021, the Kapuso leading lady said the biggest lesson she learned was how important it was to invest in one's future.

"Sa ngayon kasi, siguro isa sa mga natutunan ko ngayong may pandemic, kailangan nating mag-invest para sa future natin," Sanya told GMA News Online on Wednesday.

"Kasi mahirap eh," she added. "Hindi na natin alam kung anong posibleng mangyari kaya dapat nagse-save na tayo for the future din."

"So 'yun lagi yung iniisip ko importante yung health natin, dapat meron tayo para diyan, at of course 'yung mase-secure tayo para sa future natin."

Earlier in the same Zoom conference, Sanya mentioned that one of her goals for 2022 was to invest in more business ventures or real estate.

"My goal for 2022 is magdadagdag pa siguro ako ng bagong investments at, siguro, baka rin sa real estate or kahit mga new business venture," Sanya told GMA News' Nelson Canlas.

"Kasi, 'di ba nga, sinasabi nila, kapag bata ka, mas mabuti pang ilagay mo muna sa tama 'yung mga gagastusin mo," she said.

"T'saka maganda kasi 'yung napaghandaan mo 'yung future mo, lalo na sa panahon ngayon na partly hindi ganon ka-stable dahil sa pandemic," she added.

Speaking of investments, Sanya was excited to show everyone her dream home which was currently in construction.

"Ito [new house] 'yung, 'pag wala akong ginagawa, ito talaga 'yung pinagkakalibangan ko sa ngayon," she said.

"Malapit na po siya talagang matapos! Ang dami-dami [nang] naghahanap," she added.

Sanya Lopez is reprising her memorable "First Yaya" role in the sequel, "First Lady" coming to GMA this 2022.

She also stars in the action-packed Kapuso drama "Agimat ng Agila" alongside Bong Revilla. – RC, GMA News
