After Armi's departure, UDD marks end of an era with 'Tambalan' music video

UDD marked the end of an era with the departure of Armi Millare after 17 years of making music with the band.

Many fans were saddened to learn that the UDD they knew would be no more, and the band further tugged heartstrings on Tuesday with the release of the music video for their 2019 song "Tambalan."

It was a fitting goodbye, with the lyrics including the lines, "Tinitingala inaabangan, hanggang kailan kaya tayong dalawa."

"Before we move on to new beginnings, here's a little gift from us. We hope you enjoy this music video of 'Tambalan' directed by Nic Reyes. Merry Christmas and see you next year!" the band said.

UDD announced Armi's departure on Sunday. The vocalist-keyboardist later confirmed it with a heartfelt message for the fans.

"I see that there was more progress than perfection during our time together and I'm willing to let it end where it has. We had a good run," she said.

The remaining members, Carlos Tañada, Ean Mayor, and Paul Yap, said they will continue to make music under Terno Recordings.

UDD recorded four albums since it formed in 2004. Some of its most popular songs include "Tadhana," "Oo," and "Indak."

This year, UDD performed "Paagi," the ending song for "Trese" on Netflix.
