Dua Lipa, BTS and Olivia Rodrigo dominate Billboard's year-end global charts

Billboard has revealed the most impressive musical feats of 2021 based on worldwide data, and coming out on top are Dua Lipa, Olivia Rodrigo, and BTS.

According to an article posted on Billboard's website, "Levitating" by Dua Lipa is no.1 on the year-end Billboard Hot 100 song chart, making it the biggest song in the world this year.

Additionally, it is no. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 song of 2021.

Olivia Rodrigo, meanwhile, is the top artist of the year on the Billboard Global 200.

The Filipino-American singer has eight songs on the Global 200 Songs, led by “Drivers License” at no. 4 and “Good 4 U” at no. 9

And who could forget the world-dominating seven-member band from South Korea? According to Billboard, BTS "dominated internationally," being the year’s top artist, and has the year’s top song, on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. recaps.

“Dynamite” sits at no. 1 on the year-end Global Excl. U.S. chart while “Butter,” is at no. 5.

Billboard also named BTS the No. 1 Overall Duo/Group. —JCB, GMA News
