Ayala Museum to reopen doors to public after 2 years
The Ayala Museum is finally reopening its doors to the public starting Dec. 4!
According to the announcement made on Facebook, five fresh galleries will be featured on opening day, and all will be accessible from the contemporary art museum’s first to third floors.
Two featured exhibitions are “Intertwined: Transpacific, Transcultural Philippines” and the “Landscape into Painting: Fernando Zobel Serie Blanca” which will both run until Dec. 31.
Apart from the exhibitions, a new digital gallery will also welcome visitors at the lobby. Curated with a set of sprawling screens, it enables guests to go through art and history with just a click.
Of course, it won’t be complete without the Filipinas Heritage Library making a grand comeback with a more aesthetic and relaxing ambiance to make studying and researching more home-y.
Interested guests must book a visit through the Ayala Museum’s website. Note that only those who are fully vaccinated, regardless of age, are welcome to enter. Don’t forget your vaccination cards and IDs!
Before leaving, you may also stop by the revamped shop to get a keepsake of the wonderful experience.
The Ayala Museum is open from Wednesdays to Sundays 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. – Franchesca Viernes/RC, GMA News
