BTS member V to sing OST of Choi Woo Shik drama ‘Our Beloved Summer’

Despite his hectic schedule, BTS member V proves that he is a supportive friend to his mates.

According to a Soompi report, V will be singing the official soundtrack of “Our Beloved Summer,” a drama which stars his close friend, “Parasite” star Choi Woo Shik.

Music director and song producer Nam Hye Seung said the song was made with the singer in mind because it “emphasizes V’s warm tone and will play an important part in the drama.”

“Our Beloved Summer” is a romantic comedy about a couple that ended things badly. However, they are forced to work together again after the documentary they filmed 10 years ago gained popularity.

The drama, which also stars Kim Da Mi, is set to premiere Dec. 6.

In September, V reached four million followers on his Spotify account, which has only two songs: “Sweet Night” from “Itaewon Class” and “It’s Definitely You” from “Hwarang.” Both dramas starred Park Seo Jun, another friend of V.

V, Woo Shik, and Seo Jun are part of a friend group called Wooga Squad, which also includes Park Hyung Sik and singer-rapper Peakboy.
